DISTRICT AWARDS
 
Excellence Series Awards
  • Qualifying Period: 1 July 2002 to 30 April 2003
  • Eligibility: All Toastmasters in good standing who are members of a Toastmasters Club in District 51
  • Purpose : To recognize members' commitment and dedication towards excellence in Toastmasters by achieving the goals

PERSONAL EXCELLENCE GOLD AWARD
Criteria:

  • Achieve CTM or ATM award
  • Sponsor or mentor a new club
  • Recruit 5 new members
  • Mentor a NEW member to achieve CTM


PERSONAL EXCELLENCE DIAMOND AWARD
Criteria:

  • Achieve all criteria for PERSONEL EXCELLENCE GOLD AWARD
  • Sponsor or mentor a second Toastmasters club
  • Recruit another 5 new members
  • Mentor a second member to achieve CTM


Members who qualify for the above awards shall receive their awards at the 2003 PANSEA Annual Convention in Miri ( 16 to 18 May, 2003 ) 


AWARDS FOR CLUB EXCELLENCE 
Excellence Awards for Distinguished Clubs are awarded to clubs which have achieved Distinguished status by April 30th, 2003.

Criteria:

  • Submit April semi annual dues by April 1st, 2003
  • Meet membership of at least 20 members or
  • For clubs with less than 20 members, a nett growth of 5 new members by April 30th, 2003
Club Excellence Platinum Award - for clubs achieving all the 10 DCP goals by April 30th, 2003
Club Excellence Diamond Award - for clubs achieving 9 DCP goals by April 30th, 2003
Club Excellence Gold Award - for clubs achieving 7 or 8 DCP goals by April 30th, 2003
Club Excellence Classic Award - for clubs achieving 5 or 6 DCP goals by April 30th, 2003

Clubs shall receive their awards at the 2003 PANSEA Annual convention in Miri from May 16 to 18, 2003

SPECIAL EXCELLENCE AWARDS
Qualifying period: July 1st, 2002 to June 30th, 2003

  • Club Sponsorship Excellence Award - This award recognizes members who has chartered the most number of New Clubs -- either as Club Sponsors or Club Mentors in the term 2002/2003, thereby helping even more people experience to excel in the Toastmasters International Communication and Leadership program. To qualify for this award, you must be club sponsors or mentors of newly chartered clubs or served as club specialists or rescuing weak clubs.
  • Speechcraft Excellence Award - the award recognizes members for outstanding dedication as speechcraft co-ordinators or assistant co-ordinators during the term 2002/2003.


EXCELLENCE AWARDS FOR DIVISION AND AREA GOVERNORS
These awards shall be presented to Division and Area Governors for achieving at least Distinguished by April 30,2003

  • Division Excellence Gold Award - For Division Governors achieving Distinguished by April 30, 2003
  • Division Excellence Diamond Award- For Division Governors achieving Select Distinguished by April 30, 2003
  • Division Excellence Platinum Award - For Division Governors achieving President Distinguished by April 30, 2003


Areas

  • Area Excellence Gold Award - For Area Governors achieving Distinguished by April 30, 2003
  • Area Excellence Diamond Award- For Area Governors achieving Select Distinguished by April 30, 2003
  • Area Excellence Platinum Award- For Area Governors achieving President Distinguished at April 30, 2003


Division Toastmaster of the Year
This award recognized the member whose educational accomplishments, club service dedication and enthusiasm are exceptional in the respective divisions.

The following awards shall be presented at the end of the term - 2002/2003:-
Division Governor of the Year
This award recognizes a Division Governor whose leadership and commitment have been instrumental in achieving the District mission.

Area Governor of the Year
This award recognizes an Area Governor whose service to members, clubs and the District exemplifies extraordinary leadership.

District Toastmasters of the Year
This award is presented to the most outstanding Toastmaster in the District in 2002/2003 who has demonstrated excellence in educational accomplishment, membership recruitment, sponsoring or mentoring a new club or becoming a Club specialist, conducting training, assist in the publicity of the Toastmasters educational programs to the members of the community.
